Achieving A 2.0 GPA
Many school districts require students to achieve at least a 2.0 GPA each grading period to participate in extracurricular activities. I, as an athlete, feel that all school districts should use this policy and inturn help increase some students’ GPA’s. First of all, achieving a 2.0 GPA is not that difficult to achieve but when an athlete has to choose between school and extracurricular activities, school should come first. Extracurricular activities might earn a scholarship but in order to achieve a scholarship, athletes still have to have the grades. So in the long run, school carries more importance than extracurricular activities.
