Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution started in the 1700's and was a great time
period in the history of earth. It paved the way for more efficient industries
and was the first step towards urbanization.
Great Britain, a large rural society, had many farms. Farming took a lot
of time out of the day of the people; they needed to invent something more
efficient to work on their farms. Jethro Tull invented the seed drill and the
plough. The seed drill increased the percent of seeds that germinated, it
spaced them out equally instead of the old method of taking a handful of
seeds and throwing them all over the field. The
