Elements of Female Subjugation in Browning’s “My Last Duchess”
Applying a Feminest Critical approach to the reading of Robert Browning’s “My Last Duchess” uncovers a text in which sex determines the importance that the characters shall possess and forces us to examine the phenomena of favoritism and alienation according to sex.
